The FTP Troubleshooting tool is a command line tool which would test if the FTP server is up and running using automated techniques. Some of the tests the tool would perform are sending a ping request, testing if FTP port 21 is open or closed on the server, tests for username and password authentication and file download. The tool is developed with Python and Scapy and can be executed on Windows and Linux Platform. The output of the code is shown below.
